The Ultimate Sauce originally began in Macon, Georgia in the early 1900s. Ancestors of the Jackson family made an earlier version of The Ultimate Sauce for events they would have with family and friends, but it wasn’t until The King James BBQ Restaurant was opened in Wilkinsburg, PA., that the recipe was perfected. After a few successful years in business the restaurants unfortunately closed down. But the Famous King James Sauce lives on…
